General conditions and privacy policy for SSY Engine

Intended use: SSY Engine is designed for ophthalmologists to simulate future open angle glaucoma progression. The Application provides an estimate for how further lowering the IOP may alter the future RoP to avoid severe vision loss to glaucoma patients during their expected life span.

The information contained in the SSY Engine is for information purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for other relevant data relating to the treatment of the glaucoma patients. The use of the information contained in SSY Engine is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By using this Application, you accept the Terms without limitations or requirements.

Content: Shortcut Medtech AB (SM), the manufacturer of SSY Engine, will take necessary actions to keep this Application up to date and accurate. Usage outside the Intended use is at your own risk. Neither SM nor anyone else who is or has been involved in the development, production or distribution of the Application will be held responsible for damages to your computer, mobile phone or other equipment.

Privacy: No personal information is stored in the application. Number of downloads and sessions on country level is tracked using the software tool Aptabase. Aptabase follows the requirements of GDPR.

Security: By using this App, users are responsible for maintaining their access data (generic password) confidential, and for limiting access to their own devices.

Trademarks: Abbvie names and logos are owned by Abbvie, and may not be used without Abbvie´s written consent.

Copyright: The content of this Application is protected under copyright law. Copyright to this Application belongs to SM. The content of this Application may not be copied other than for personal use. When copying for personal use SM retains all intellectual property rights. You may not copy, display, download, distribute, modify, reproduce or otherwise reproduce the information, or portions of the information contained in this Application, without a written consent from SM. This applies whether the information is reproduced in paper form, electronic or other form.

Applicable law. This Application and its content, your use of the Application and any disputes arising from this Application or its content shall be governed by Swedish law.

Shortcut Medtech AB warrants that the app complies with the applicable provisions of the MDR (Medical Device Regulation) 2017/745 and related directives and regulations. In addition, the app takes into account the requirements of DIN EN 62304: 2016.
